I am doing Dr. Natura Colonix right now, started this mornin

The taste is so digusting. After taking the pills I felt awful and had to force down the water. I made the drink in a 100% juice apple cider, and it was horrible I ended up gagging on it and throwing it back up. I could not get it down. Any taste ideas? Please!

There are tricks and tips for getting vile-tasting meds down and keeping them down, but they're not recommended for otherwise-healthy people.

There's a lot of pseudoscience insisting that toxins accumulate in the colon, poisoning you. The notion that your colon needs cleansing is a triumph of marketing. They got you--this time to the tune of what, about $80?

There have been controlled studies, but they did not produce results to back this claim that colon cleansing is beneficial in some way. None. It’s quackery, designed to sell you a product you don’t need.

There is no legitimate reason to cleanse your colon unless you're getting a colonoscopy. (And the various colon cleansing products like Dr. Natura Colonix are not what gastroenterologists want patients to use. )

Flushing everything out of the colon is not the secret to weight loss or better health. It will result in weight loss not because it's healthy but because * and future * weighs something. You’ll feel better because you *believe* you’ve done something healthy, not because you *have* done something healthy.

More beneficial than a colon cleansing is consistently eating whole grains, plenty of fruit and vegetables, and drinking enough to be properly hydrated all the time. Spend your health care dollars and time on something that's actually beneficial.

First of all, quackwatch actually gives really great ideas about the good things to do. They think they are showing people what not to do but many people read on quackwatch to find out what they should research further and think about trying. Secondly, it takes a few days to get down the water used with Dr. Natura colonix. After a few days you won't notice all the water or the pills. The fiber is a different story. This is what I did. . . . I put the smallest amount of pure orange juice (helps cover the taste) in a cup that I could mix my fiber in and then stirred it and gulped it down in one gulp. If you pour too much juice, you'll have to taste and feel the goop. But after a few days you won't notice it, especially when the stuff coming out of you looks just like the pictures on the website, and it does. Trust me, you'll feel so much better after each elimination, you won't care how gross it is.
Don't give up, it's very important to your health.

Maryn is 100% correct. There is no need to "cleanse" your colon. "Detoxing" is ridiculous nonsense and has no health benefits. They have NEVER shown what these mysterious "toxins" are, or that "detoxing" actually removes any of them from the body!

You should see if you can get your money back.

I started taking the Colonix by Dr. Natura yesterday. I just mixed it with a spoon yesterday and had it with water. Today I mixed it with a blender and water, much better than yesterday. If you have a blender you should try it that way. Drink it with exactly 8oz of liquid and drink it fast.
