colon Cleanse Question.?

Postby scott.phillips » July 21st, 2011, 10:00 pm

I want to do a colon clense but I'm only 15 and I can't take the colon cleanseres such as colonix(because I'm under 18). I'm not doing this to loose weight I'm just having trouble going to the bathroom lately. I went to the doctor and he said I was fine, but I haven't been going for a few weeks.

Any suggestions?
oh and I'm a veggeterian, I'll eat a few sweets hear and there, and I don't eat dairy products either.

To get your bowels moving you need to increase your fiber and fluid intake. A colon cleanse is not going to cure your constipation. Eat more fresh fruits and veggies and use a fiber supplement twice a day. Use Colace aka docusate if your stools are hard. Drink prune juice or eat prunes daily. Sit on the toilet for 5 minutes every day after you eat breakfast whether you have a BM or not. If after 3 days you have not had a BM then use a suppository.

Increase your fiber and liquids intake. Soy nuts (with or without raisins) are helpful. I eat Fiber One cereal with 2% milk. You can use soy milk instead. Apples, pineapple, and pears are also a good source. Water and walking stimulates movements.

Stress and / or lack of sleep will definitely slow you down internally. If something is causing excess stress in your life, lack of bile movement may result.

Avoid stool softeners which only liquefy your waste and weaken your colon.

Limbo . . . The "benefits" of colon cleansers are a myth, a waste of money, and are potentially harmful. I am NOT a doctor, so there's no need to believe me. However, ask your doctor about so-called colon cleansers and see what s / he says about them. Don't play around with them, please.
